One. Main Features
Drive In Racks:
Drive In Racks allow vehicles to enter the storage area for pallet placement in a back-to-front arrangement, and require the operator to back-out of the rack after pallet placement. Drive In Racks are ideally suited for "FIRST-IN / LAST-OUT" inventory management. Drive In systems can also be designed as "double entry systems" in a back to back arrangement. Double entry systems allow for greater density and allow for entry on both sides of the system.
Drive Thru Racks:
Drive Thru Racks have two access aisle for loading and retrieval. Lift Trucks can pass through the rack bay, placing loads on supporting rails from one side, and exit in the same direction. Trucks can also enter the rack bay for the opposite side to remove loads. Drive-Thru Racks are well suited for "FIRST-IN / FIRST-OUT" inventory movement . Both Drive-In and Drive-Thru systems offer the advantages of high-density storage and lower costs.

Two. When should you specify Drive In Rack
1. Drive-In Rack is used to store many pallets of a similar SKU or product. Lift trucks drive into the rack to extract the first pallet they come to. This is "Last-In, First-Out" storage.
2.We've installed Drive-In and Drive-Through Racks in a number of cold storage applications, due to the need to store as many pallets as possible in as little expensive freezer space as possible.
3.When you have seasonal items that move quickly out of your inventory.
4.When you have a large amount of similar items that can be stored in a single pallet position and accessed last-in, first-out.
5.If you don't store a wide variety of loads in the rack.
