Benefits of Product Application
Suitability for application in areas with low temperatures
The design of solid ring main unit reduces the dependence on SF6 gas which eliminate the potential problem caused by insulation gas of being liquefied under low temperature
Suitability for application in areas with high temperatures
The increased pressure caused by higher temperature is no longer an issue for solid dielectric ring main unit
Suitability for application in low-lying areas and construction sites with labor forces
The density of SF6 is five times more than normal air under the same condition, leaked SF6 are easily deposited in low-lying areas which is very dangerous for people working there. People can be suffocated by leaked gas.
Suitability for application in closed environment:
Vacuum arc extinguishing chamber is under normal pressure where all bushing and sealed fillings are solid dielectric which prevent the potential of explosion caused by normal gas insulated product.
Suitability for frequent switching operation
SF6 load switch is designed for switch operations for up to 2000 times, while the switch operations for solid dielectric designed ring main units are more than 100000 times.
Suitability for environmental protection
The green house effect caused by SF6 has drawn much attention, solid dielectric designed ring main unit eliminate the use of SF6 gas, which further meet the national requirement for environmental protection.

In April, 2012, Solid Insulated RMU developed by SOJO Electric has successfully passed Full Type Test at KEMA in accordance with relevant International IEC Standards, once again providing the solid support to the excellent performance and reliability of the product.
