Linzhou Changda Railway Material Co., Ltd. (CDR), established in 1989, focuses on the research, development and production of railway fishplates (splice bar / joint bar). CDR has become supplier for railway fishplates approved by the People's Republic of China's Ministry of Railways, and serves many Chinese large and medium-sized railway projects.
CDR has also broken into international markets and customised 21 different varieties of foreign standard and non-standard fishplates, which are exported to the US, Canada, Australia, South America, Africa and Jordan.
Railway fishplates
Fishplates are arguably the company's most renowned products, with CDR boasting 23 years' experience manufacturing them. CDR can produce common fishplates, insulated fishplates, bulged fishplates, compromised fishplates, and glued insulated fishplates used for high-speed railway according to several standards, such as TB/T2345-2008, AREMA 2007, BS47-1, UIC864-4 & UIC864-8, AS1085.1-2002 and DIN 5902-1995.

Research and development of railway fishplates
CDR has two fishplate rolling lines, including 450 and 300 rolling lines, which can guarantee our annual production capacity of 20,000t. 123 workers and 22 technicians work for CDR, while our two senior engineers have more than 30 years' experience and unique insight into the development of fishplates, as well as other parts such as splice bars and joint bars.
CDR introduced ISO9001:2008 quality systems, attained ISO9001:2008 certificates and established a laboratory, which is equipped with a micro-computer control electro-hydraulic universal testing machine and a Brinell hardness tester, and is set up to correspond with the quality inspection department to control the quality of the entire production process.
CDR's technical team has studied several countries' specific standards and made special adjustments and arrangements when it comes to raw materials, process layouts and quality control.
