Product Overviews

Stepping motor is divided into three kinds: Permanent Magnet (PM), Variable Reluctance (VR) and Hybrid (HB). Generally, PM is two-phase with a small torque and volume, and its step angle is 7.5 degree or 1.5 degree. VR is generally three-phase with a step angle of 1.5 degree, and it can realize a high-torque output. But it produces too much noise and serious vibration, due to which it has fallen into disuse in the developed countries, such as Europe and America in 80's. HB has advantages of PM and VR. It is divided into two-phase, three-phase and five-phase. Generally, two-phase type has a step angle of 1.8 degree and five-phase type has a step angle of 0.72 degree. With the number of phase increases, the step angle of HB decreases, and accuracy is improved. Hence this kind type of step motor is widely used.
