Traveling head press features:
A hydraulic traveling head press producing 25tons of cutting force. This very quiet, high speed machine has a heavy-duty, single cylinder construction that provides for efficient cuts of single or multiple layers of material. The hydraulic up stroke and down stroke provide for an even cutting depth. It is especially designed for maximum material yield of small parts cut from wide materials. Die and material height is set quickly and easily making this machine operator friendly.
Traveling head press advantages:
1. Uses a hydraulic-down and hydraulic-up system to provide an even cutting depth .
2.Wide bed allows full width to be processed without the added expense of slitting to smaller dimension.
3.Two hand tripping action, ensures complete operator safety.
4. Movable platen, allows the operator visibility to conveniently and accurately place the die onto material.
5. Automatic head down stroke speed reduction prior to actual cutting action to minimize any possible size difference between top most and bottom layers in multiply applications.
6.Excellent repeat accuracy of stroke ensures extended cutting pad life and clean accurate parts.
7.Die height and material height can be set quickly.
8. Products of special specifications can be customized.
Operation:
The operator has only to position or feed the material onto the bed of the press and place the cutting tool. On activation, the press head travels across, descends under hydraulic power to cut the required shape or shapes. The press head moves away automatically after the cut so that the operator has perfect access and visibility to remove the cut pieces and re-position the tool for the next cut.
